TEA PLANTATION

Cameron Highlands BohTea Plantation 








Boh Tea Factory, BOH Plantations Sdn. Bhd. is the largest black tea
manufacturer in Malaysia. The BOH Tea Plantation, which is located
at Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia is also the largest tea plantation
in Malaysia.
Boh Tea Mountains, The current slogan of BOH tea products is
"BOH ada Ummph!" 
Plantations was founded in 1929 by J.A. Russel, a Briton|British
businessman during the British colonial era in Malaya. He was optimist
of the tea plantation business due to huge demands despite of the world-wide
Great Depression at that time. As a result of the potential, he applied
for and was granted a concession of land for his first tea garden in Habu,
Cameron Highlands.
Tea Shop, Today, BOH Plantations owns three tea gardens - the first garden in Habu,
Fairlie Tea Garden and Sungai Palas Tea Garden. To ensure the freshness
of its tea products, BOH Plantations also set up a packaging factory near its main
garden. BOH tea products are distributed both in domestic and international markets.

Bharat Tea Plantation as it is owned and operated by the Bharat Group, the second largest tea producer in Malaysia. Bharat plantation company originates from India's Uttar Pradesh region and had made its presence in Cameron Highlands since 1933.
Bharat Plantation owns four parcels of tea gardens with 1,600 acres of planting area.1952 Bharat has began processing their own tea leaves on contract basis,by 1963, the Bharat company acquired an on-site tea processing plant. The rest is probably what we have seen today. Just like the Boh Tea Plantation with its famous tea brand and plantation.
The type of tea tree grown here is known as Camellia sinensis, which has a long history of Indian and Chinese geographic origins. While it is known to grow in lowlands, its preference for slightly acidic soil and well-drained hilly terrains of sub-tropical climates makes it a natural choice for planting in Bharat Tea Plantation. Not to mention, most tea trees can live for over a hundred years, provided the tea farming methods are done properly.
Bharat tea house is built such that to give an impression of being perched or hanged above the whole tea plantations. The view of Bhara tea Plantation is fantastic, also is a farmous travel point in Cameron Highlands. As the morning sun shimmers on the tea plants, it brings out the most majestic of green hues that can be found anywhere.

WATERFALL

Cameron Highlands Parit Waterfal



The Parit Fall is one of the farmous waterfalls that can be found in the Cameron Highlands.


Cameron Highlands Lata Iskandar Waterfall 

Lata Iskandar is one of the favourite attractions in Cameron Highlands. It is a ideal place for picnic, relax yourself and have a enjoyable family day. The waterfall is located halfway between Tapah and Cameron Highlands.


Cameron Highlands Robinson Waterfall 

The Robinson Falls are located in Tana Ratah, the center of the Cameron Highlands. You can walk a number of jungle short walk to this attractive waterfall.


FARM

Cameron Highlands Rose Valley & Rose Centre 

Rose Centre is located at Kea Farm and Rose Valley is located at Trinkap. They are romantic places that you may want to visit. There are over one hundred varieties of roses were grown. There are red, pink, yellow, peach and white of colour of roses planted from the entrance to the end of the farm.
You may also see various sizes of the roses, from the huge roses until the small roses. Black roses, green roses and roses without thorn are the special varieties of roses that you must see. Both of the rose gardens were also decorated with sculptures; fountains; pergolas and other flowers such as Lily; Gerbera; Camellia; Gyspy Flower and etc. Rose Centre is opens daily from 8am - 6pm. Entrance fees are MYR3.00 for adults and MYR1.50 for children. 


Cameron Highlands Ea Feng Gu Honey Apiary Bee Farm 

Ee Feng Gu Honey Bee Apiary Farm is situated 5km from Tanah Rata town.
You can buy honey and know more about bee farmer how to look after the bees.
It is very save and encourage able to bring along children so that they can learn more about the nature of bees and honey.
Ee Feng Gu is open daily from 8 am to 7 pm. The entrance is Free.


Cameron Highlands Vegetables Farm


Fruit and vegetable farms are located throughout the highlands. Most farms allow visitors in and you can also buy them fresh on-site. Drive up to Tringkap or Kuala Terla to get a roadside view of the larger vegetable farms.


Cameron Highlands Kasimanis Strawberry Farm 

There are a lot of strawberry farms in Cameron Highlands. KasiManis is one of the most famous strawberry farms in Cameron Highlands. The farm is located right after the Cameron Highlands Resorts.
The KasiManis Strawberry Farm offers self-picking. All you have to do is get a plastic from counter and start picking.
After you have finished picking, go to the counter and the plastic bad will be weighed to determine the price.


EATERIES

Cameron Highland Singnature Fruit







The nearby Cactus Valley which features thousands of cacti on display, also boasts a comprehensive variety of plants and foliage... as well as apple trees, passion fruit and other temperature climate fruits. Several strawberry farms dot the area. Some grow strawberries organically in coconut husk placed on stilt-like platforms off the ground. Here you can pay a small fee to pick fresh strawberries or simply purchase the assortment of homemade jam or dried strawberries.

Nestled in a room at the top of the stairs lies a home for all who are craving for a home cooked meal. Its rustic warm ambience adds a special touch to the T cafe.
Early in 2002, a group of friends, captivated by the idea of having a unique dining establishment where one could feel cosy and completely at home, discovered a quaint little place on the 1st floor of a shop lot. Hence, the T-cafe was born.

Cameron highlands Night Market 






After visiting the fruits and vegetable farms, you might want to buy some. The market is a good place to look for everything under one roof. The main markets are located in Kea Farm and on Saturday nights a night market comes alive in Brinchang offering an abundance of fruits, flowers, vegetables and souvenirs, not to mention food!
